A prominent figure in the world of circumcision, Dr Salleh is no stranger to the procedure as he is the Managing Director for Mymedikal Healthcare Sdn Bhd, which provides circumcision services to the community and professional growth and skill training through Mymedik Academy, all while conducting sunathons regularly during the school holidays. He started off his medical career by obtaining his Doctor of Science (MD) from University Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2001, and Master of Surgery from University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2011. Surgery is his passion while serving the community is his vocation. From being a clinical lecturer in University of Cyberjaya (UoC), to providing circumcision services to the community, to heavily involve in multiple programs as a speaker for healthcare workers and the public, as well as involving himself in many humanitarian expeditions namely to Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. He also patented his product "SOLEHRING", a new disposable circumcision device, and has written two books for house officers trying to survive the two critical years of housemanship in their medical career. He received many prestigious accolades for his position as a lecturer and for SOLEHRING alike.

Dr. Luis Ramon V. Rodriguez serves as the Founder and guiding light of several medical companies through Karl Group Holdings Corporation, where each subsidiary forms part of his advocacy in bringing quality and advanced healthcare, medical education, health care insurance and other medically related projects all over the Philippines. By profession, he is an ENT-Head and Neck Surgeon, an established medi-preneur, doing medical business for more than 25 years, who also served as a board member in various organizations and hospitals, both local and international. Having played an active role in promoting health & wellness by being the founding member / board of director of various organizations, his latest project involves building 100-bed hospitals and organising a group in setting-up Multi-specialty and Managed Care Centres in different regions.

Dr Muhammad Labaichi’s long and illustrious career is truly inspiring. His medical education started at Rangsit University, after which he went on to serve as a medical doctor specialising in Internal Medicine at Hat Yai University and obtained his specialist certification on addiction medicine from Thanyarak Hospital, Pattani. Utilising his knowledge and expertise, he is now a prominent figure in Kok Poh Hospital, Pattani, wearing multiple hats: Deputy Director of Academic Affairs, Head of Internal Medicine Department, Head of Financial Development and Revenue Collection Units, all while also service as Medical Instructor of the Rural Health Professional Network.

Beyond the four walls of the hospital, he is also the Manager for the Southern Circumcision Centre of Thailand, multiple clinics, Wellness Centre, and Elderly Care Centre. Previously, he held the position of President of the Thai Islamic Medical Associate (TIMA), whereas now he is the Chairman of the Southern Border Businessmen Association (ThaiSEC).

Putting on so many hats, Dr Abdol Rashid Masrom is the President of MADOCS (Malaysian Doctor of Circumcision Society), secretary-general of PERDIM (Pertubuhan Doktor-Doktor Islam Malaysia), chairman of CO-OP KDKSB (Koperasi Doktor Klinik Swasta Berhad), as well as a certified ZSR Anastomat trainer (a circumcision technique) and CEO and owner of Rangkaian Klinik Sejahtera in the Klang Valley. He started his career in medicine in 1997 after attaining his Medical Doctor (MD) from Universiti Kebanngsaan Malaysia (UKM). He has special interests in minor surgery and has been actively performing male circumcision in clinics using dorsal slit, Plastibell, clamp, and staplers methods. He is the lead trainer for ZSR Stapler in Malaysia.

Our Bruneian expert is a 2003 graduate of University Dundee, Scotland, and zoomed his way into serving for the Brunei Ministry of Health for a decade from 2004 onwards. Dr Ady then made the big jump, transitioning to hold the post of a specialist registrar while training in Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (UK) in the specialisations of General Surgery, Oncoplastic Breast and Endocrine surgery, and is currently serving as a specialist general surgeon at The Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital (RIPAS Hospital), Brunei Darussalam.

His post as the head of the newly-established permanent Circumcision Unit in RIPAS Hospital was since October 2022, but he has been leading and improving the service as early as 2008. Previous appointments held by him include Medical Superintendent of PIHM Hospital, Temburong (2018-2020) and Deputy Medical Superintendent of RIPAS Hospital between 2016-2022. He was also involved in the ASEAN Regional Capacity on Disaster Health Management (ARCH) project representing Brunei Darussalam between 2017-2021.

Dr Anwar is a Pakistan-born doctor practicing in United Kingdom since 1998 and has since solidified his role as an Otorhynolaryngology surgeon. He started off his medical career back in 1985 after receiving his MBBS from University of Karachi and then proceeded to successfully complete his postgradute studies from University of Karachi and The Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Currently he holds two positions: locum specialist registrar in ENT at Grange University Hospital, Cwmbran, Wales, and Surgeon and Director at Transcend Consulting Room Cardiff, London & Glasgow. Knowing that circumcision is not widely and generally provided in the UK under the NHS, Dr Anwar has since established a Circumcision Clinic thanks to encouragement of fellow community members, providing safe and reliable services to the community as a whole.

A giant in the medical field, Dr Anwar has always held an affinity for charity work, reflected in his membership in UK-based International Medical Relief Agency (IMRA), a charity organisation providing medical relief worldwide. Part of their efforts include annual ear surgery camp at Pakistan, where more than 600 children have benefited from their middle ear and mastoid surgeries free of charge.

Mr Arun comes with an illustrious track record in the surgical field befitting his status as a consultant urologist. After graduating with an MBBS degree from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, he went on to obtain his Master of Surgery from University Malaya in 2012. Fast forward to 2018, Mr Arun was awarded with FRCS Urology from Glasgow and Fellowship in Functional Urology from Melbourne, Australia, respectively, cementing his career as a urologist.

With more than 19 years of experience in the medical field, Dr Syahril Anuar started off his career after obtaining undergraduate and postgraduate training from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Having experienced being a protege for Dato' Dr Rohan Malek in 2007, a renowned Senior Consultant Urologist in Malaysia, inspired him to choose Urology as his life's calling, subsequently being certified with a Diploma of Fellowship (Urology) from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. His special interest is in Genitalia Reconstructive Urology, with him being under the current direct supervision of experienced Consultant Reconstructive Urologist in Malaysia, Dr Hamid bin Haji Ghazali. Not only that, he has mastered minimally invasive surgery, mainly using laparoscopic and endo-urology techniques.

Such inspiration buoyed Dr Syahril Anuar’s medical aspirations to where he is currently: an enthusiastic and humble urologist providing service to the community in need. His passion towards volunteerism is reflected across various medical-related programmes successfully organised and participated in by him.

After receiving his undergraduate training from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and postgraduate qualifications in Masters of Surgery (Plastic Surgery), Dr Wan Azman is now working as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon and a full-time lecturer in Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia Kelantan. On top of this, he is also a visiting consultant Plastic Surgeon for Kota Bharu Medical Centre, Kuala Terengganu Specialist Hospital, and KPJ Pahang Hospital. He has been appointed as the Coordinator and Program Chairman for Masters of Surgery (Plastic Surgery), Universiti Sains Malaysia Health Campus and serving since 2009 until now. His skills as a plastic surgeon is undeniable - after completing his clinical attachment at Sydney Children Hospital under Dr Mark Gianotsus and obtained his fellowship in craniofacial and aesthetic surgery, Chulalongkorn Craniofacial Centre, Thailand especially, he has performed numerous complex microvascular reconstruction procedures for head and neck, limb and breast cancers, as well as children with cleft lip and palate.

He is trained in cosmetic plastic surgery, with special interest in body contouring, breast, eyelid, nose, and ear surgery. Not only is he a renowned and expert plastic surgeon and a dedicated lecturer, but he also divides his time for charity as a committee member for MERCY Malaysia.

Dr Syariz Izry is not a stranger to the world of Paediatric Surgery - after graduating from University College of Cork, Ireland in 2002, he obtained his Master of Paediatric Surgery certifications from University of Malaya (UMMC). Equipped with his knowledge and skills as a Paediatrics surgeon, he went on to serve as a lecturer for 5 years (2010-2015) at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), one of the top medical universities in Malaysia. Currently, he practices at Prince Court Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur, and Avisena Women’s and Children’s Specialist Hospital Shah Alam as a Consultant Paediatrics Surgeon, with Paediatric Laparoscopic procedures being his specialty.

Ever the star achiever, Dr Syariz Izry actively engages in humanitarian work outside of his medical career, having joined many missions to war-torn and disaster areas such as Gaza, Syria, Cambodia, and Indonesia. His stint as the Head of Medical Service during his Cambodian mission led to him initiating surgical services for Cambodian Muslim children in 2017 until present. From 2020 until now, he is also tasked with the title of President for MedicAid Society, which is an NGO that emphasises aid towards aid and education.

Ustaz Adam is a representative from the spirituality sight of humankind. He brings forth a different perspective to our medical circumcision community, one that might have slipped from the minds of healthcare providers as we blaze through our pursuit of healing the community. His career started in 2009 after he obtained a bachelor's degree in Islamic banking from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), climbing the corporate ladder as an Islamic Affair Assistant before reaching his current position as the Assistant Registrar at Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah UiTM Puncak Alam. He is a two-time recipient of the Excellence Services Award UiTM (2012 and 2017).

The medical career of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elsayed started in Zagazig University, Egypt, when he graduated with an MBBCH (1985). He went on to obtain his Master’s in Surgery (1994) and Medical Doctorate (2007) from the same university. His interest and passion in teaching led to his tenure as a Lecturer at Al-Ahrar Teaching Hospital, Zagazig, before becoming the Head of Surgical Department for 3 years. The winds of change in 2016 brought him all the way to Malaysia, where his role as Course Coordinator and Internal Examiner in local universities has paved the way for him to position himself as Associate Professor of General Surgery at the University of Cyberjaya (UoC) since 2021 until now.
